Rome, Italy

Hej, to all of you!

Here we are at our second “date”, I can not define in my favourite but this one was the far most romantic.

Already known practice, Adi flew to Vienna I drove to there and together we have flew to Rome. Believe me good organisation and the timing is everything! You remember my post about Vienna, where I have praised My taxi app? Well here I most certainly do not recommend it. After almost an hour of searching and texting the most inappropriate messages with the driver via Whats app, we took an offer from many of local taxi service. You instantly know that you have arrived in Italy. People jump around you, shouting, waving with their arms while speaking so much energy…I loved it! The drive to our destination which was in the center of Rome was “thrilling”, it took us less then half an hour. But all this combines with the temperament of the people there. Drivers are multitasking on pro level, while they are driving they explain, show, asking and answering questions. Adrenalin is guaranteed!

Il Monumento nazionale a Vittorio Emanuele II

After all of this trill in the evening we have arrived to Navona luxury guest house. When you arrive to this historical building you are first greeted by this massive wooden doors, which opens to this amazing oasis. Typical Italian building design of stone and gold interior corridor which is leading to open space in between buildings where is fountain with amazing lighting. The sound of water falling and this place itself make you feel at peace. On the left you are entering the staircase in the middle of space is a vintage gold elevator just completing the look of ground floor. Slowly climbing the stairs you stop at first floor where the Navona luxury guest house is located. The buzz of the card opens to small front desk and later to this open space, lobby so trendy decorated with interior and cute balcony which have the view to place in between buildings and fountain early mentioned. Is like fine dining with all of the elements. Looking at the colours, touching all of different materials they have chosen to combine in this space. You must cheek out the photos of it on our page true Booking! Left from the lobby, hallway leads you to breakfast area and across from it there was our room.

Roman Forum

In the room the design from lobby is continued. You get that Italian mood on cause, that the place gives you. They have done really good job with lighting by the beed on the sensational grey brick wall behind it. Makes you just to want to jump on this cosy bed! Everything is perfectly placed, you feel free because the room is really spacious. The view from the window is placed to the building next to it and to the alley in between the two of them. Not to noisy just enough sounds from the street to feel comfortable. You will find everything you need, closet with safe box, sofa, table,…ah I almost forgot, the bathroom! Well I do not have anything different to type then I have so far. Clean white – beige combination and glass shower with the brick pattern inside with all small things you need for personal care. So the first thing was a shower, after long day of traveling was great but in this amazing room felt even better.

Cupola di San Pietro

When we finally jumped into this cozy room the planning of four days in Rome began. But the first thing that came into our minds was how happy we were not booking just something on Booking. How important was to search that extra mile, the long time surely payed off! Navona luxury guest house was great. Luckily you do not need to go true all of this trouble, we are searching the best stay on Booking for you to have the most of the destination visiting. So the planning of the sightseeing was easy, I did not catch the right moment before to mention the perfect location of Navona luxury guest house. Every sightseeing point was within ten minutes walk. You do not need to plan you public transportation, so one less thing to worry about. But before you go out to explore this amazing city, better have a proper breakfast. Which Navona surely gives to you. Friendly staff waits for you to greed you with smiles on their faces, good morning. A variety to choose from to have a really good meal. I must mention the thing I really like was fresh made for you coffee and eggs.

Musei Vaticani

If you are a true lover of history, art, gourmet person, fan of beauty, fashion, music and so much more…you are at the right place. Rome will blow your mind, mouth and feet, so plan wise! We have divided the sections in three full days. Do not get scared by the long lines, it really goes quickly. Do not be convinced in taking expensive “skipping the line”. Vatican city is a must full tour and I guarantee one of the most amazing views in town is from the top of the cupola. Pack some tissue, the beauty you are going to see is quite emotional. Visit Castel Sant Angelo is not that far away from Vatican city, believe me the view at the sunset from up is something to see. So a person can do some good shopping there to Piazza di Spagna will not disappoint you in any way and you have to get there to climb up the Spanish steps. If you are not sure what to do in the evening take a walk to Pantheon and get lost in small alleys to grab some delicious Italian food. Desert is a must gelato at Venchi and try not to eat all of it until you arrive to Fontana di Trevi, where you can sit and admire this stunning creation. Can not get any more romantic then this. Actually it can, when you will be walking to Luxury Navona guest house stop by Pantheon, have a glass of local vine or beer (my favourite Moscato d’asti). You will get full experience music, good drink and beautiful view of majestic Pantheon. Do have in mind when traveling that Sunday is quite busy, all of the entrances everywhere are free of charge. So before you visit Colosseum and Roman Forum, go to the top of Monumento Nazionale a Vittorio Emanuele II to observe them from this perspective. All around view is amazing plus the monument is stunning by it self. Try to be there at twelve it will be the moment to remember, by sound mostly. Ahed of you is the most historical walk, Roman Forum and Colosseum. I can not describe the beauty and majesty of it, it is breath taking.

Fontana di Trevi

After a long day you will just want to fell into the bed and get rested. Luckily Navona luxury guest house is just a quick walk away with all of its comfort. You can easily book directly true our page.

This was just something little of what this town have to offer, hope you like it!

Yours sincerely,

triplandos.
